ROUND-TABLE ON THE PERSONALITY OF ABU SAEED ABUL KHAIR WAS ORGANIZED IN ECO CULTURAL INSTITUTE

The round-table conference on the personality and life of Abu Saeed Abul Khair was held on February 10, 2019 at the at the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI).

The conference was organized with the participation of the ECI President, Heads of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Iranian Academy of Arts, the representatives of the Embassies of Tajikistan and Afghanistan in Iran, the former Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan Mr. Seyed Mohammad Mousa Hashemi Golpayegani and the scholars and professors related to this theme.  From the Turkmen side to this event attended the delegation headed by Mr. Davut Orazsahedov, Director of the Magtumguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

Participants, speaking about the life and works of Abu Saeed Abul Khair, noted him as a person who left a mark in the history as a universal poet and mystic. Also was noted that the great attention of modern scholars to this topic in its turn imposes the obligations on the cultural institutions of Turkmenistan and Iran in the matter of familiarizing the world community with this personality. During the meeting, it was also noted about the influence of Abu Saeed Abul Khair's oeuvre on the works of other poets, including Makhtumkuli Fraghi and according to this was done some compares.
