A meeting of the Deputy Minister of culture of Turkmenistan with the Governor of Golestan province of Iran

On May 15, 2024, the visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Deputy Minister of Culture N. Shirimov to the Golestan province of the Islamic Republic of Iran began.

Within the framework of the visit, the Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan, N. Shirimov, met with Ali Mohammad Zangane, Governor of Golestan province of Iran.

During the meeting, the parties noted that the mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and the I.R.Iran is continuously developing in all fields, especially in the cultural and humanitarian spheres. The parties also emphasized the importance of events held in Turkmenistan and the world in honor of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, the great thinker and poet of the East.

The purpose of the visit of the Turkmen delegation is to make a pilgrimage to the mausoleum of our great poets and thinkers Magtymguly Fragi and his father Dovletmammed Azadi located in Aktokay, Golestan province of Iran.
