Trilateral meeting in the format «Turkmenistan - Azerbaijan - Uzbekistan»

On August 22, 2025, a trilateral meeting of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took place at the Congress Center of the Avaza National Tourist Zone. At the end of the trilateral summit meeting between Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, a ceremony of signing bilateral documents was held. Following the trilateral summit, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev adopted a Joint Statement of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The document, in particular, expresses a unanimous opinion that further development of trilateral cooperation will serve to ensure peace and stability, strengthen trust and mutual understanding on a regional and global scale.
